Whenever I hear the word “Frankenstein”, I make a flashback in my mind of an old TV screen in black and white, showing the mad scientist in a castle who is reviving a patched-up monster to life by means of a lightning strike. I am sure many people in the same age group as me, remember that scene. There are many movies who epict the Frankenstein as a monster with no feelings, but there are some who touch on the emotional side of the monster. Frankenstein does not need to be scary and that’s exactly what I want to show you in this post on Frankenstein meme. He can be scarily funny as well.
Origin of Frankenstein
Sorry to cut in short before the funny stuff, but I just want to share a little bit on the origin of the Frankenstein (I also just learnt this too myself). Digging in deeper, I discovered that Frankenstein, also known as The Modern Prometheus started by a novel in 1818, written by English author Mary Shelley that relates the story of Victor Frankenstein, a young scientist who creates a hideous creature from an unorthodox experiment.
Did you know?
Frankenstein is actually the name of the scientist Victor, main character in the novel, but it was often used to refer to the monster itself.
